Adeline was born in Perham, Minnesota on June 18, 1934. She is predeceased by her parents Frederick William and Vyra Henrietta Loebrick (Wessel), and her brothers Wayne and Merle Loebrick of Perham, Minnesota. She is survived by her only child, Debra Geiger of Surprise, Arizona; her sisters Merillyn Davis of Dumfries, Virginia; Ardeen Filibeck of Long Beach, California; Gloria Rader of Menahga, Minnesota; and, Joan Galbrecht of Perham, Minnesota. As well as her grandson Andrew Tygart of Surprise, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews.
After high school, she moved to Minneapolis to work at S.S Kresge Company for two years, then moved on to work for Lutheran Brotherhood Life Insurance company for five years. She moved to Long Beach, California in 1960, with her sister Ardeen. She worked for two years at Pan Pacific Fisheries, then a while at Padre Freight Line, before settling into a bookkeeping career at the Long Beach Petroleum Club where she took a medical retirement after 14 years. She was previously married to Hampton Eugene Tygart in 1965 and divorced after 13 years. Hampton predeceased her in 2013.
Adeline was a quiet, angelic woman, with a very strong resolve and faith in the Lord. She was private in her thoughts, and gave humbly to her church and national charities. It was during her terminal illness that we found out how charitable she was. We found many charities that she gave to on a regular basis, on top of her regular contribution to her church. In addition she was always involved with the Lutheran Women's League, where she attended meetings on a regular basis, until she became ill.
Her favorite times were those when she traveled back to her birthplace to visit her siblings and extended family.
Mom will be missed by many, but her pain and suffering have been taken away by a merciful God. It was her prayer, and God answered it.
