Alan Kermit Jones
Born on October 7, 1956, to the late Charleston Jones and Mary Kinsey Jones, Alan entered eternal rest on September 25, 2025.
Alan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1976, which gave him the opportunity to travel the world—most memorably to Okinawa, Japan. He proudly served his country and retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1989.
After his military service, Alan pursued a career as a truck driver and later started his own business. He eventually retired due to health concerns.
Alan was the youngest male of sixteen children. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Charles Jones, Beulah Jones Dixon, Harriet Jones Peterson, Carol Jones Bailey, Gail Jones, Michael Jones, Michelle Jones, Shirley Jones, James “Jimmy” Jones, and Carl Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved siblings Mary Jones, Barbara Jones Peterson, Terry Jones, Sandra Jones, and Phyllis Jones.
Alan is also survived by his wife, Robin Jones; his children, Alan II, Nefrateria, Alshaye, and Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him with love, laughter, and fond memories.
