Annetta Susan Strickland

Annetta S. (aka Netta) Strickland (McVeigh) passed away around 3pm on September 13th 2021 due to complications with lung damage after having pneumonia. She was 66 years old and lived a good life with her husband James "Jim" by her side.
Netta was a homemaker, did odd jobs and arts and crafts she was known for her laughter and love of helping when she could. Netta was born in Dever, Colorado on 12-15-1955 to parents Leon Karl McVeigh and Avis Fay McVeigh (Hunter) the family moved from Colorado to Yakima, Washington area in April of 1969. Netta attended and graduated from West valley High School. Netta and her husband Jim lived a happy life together, they enjoyed traveling,riding motorcycles,three wheelers and became snow birds after selling their house in 2006. Netta is survived by her Sons, Tracy and Kevin (both of Wenatchee, Wa) Barry (of North pole, Ak) and Daughters Tawny (Of Waterville) and Tena (Fairview, Oregon) as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition, Netta is survived by her sister Jeanie (Rick) Tuesley of Anacortes,Wa, and her Neices and one Nephew. Netta was preceded in death by her husband James "Jim" Strickland, her parents, sister Leonetta "Pinkie" (McVeigh) York of Yakima,Wa.
