Anthony Joseph Parlato

Tony Parlato, 81, passed away June 9, 2025 in Victorville, California of a stroke.

Tony lived life on his own terms, and was never afraid to boldly make big changes. Born in Rochester, New York, he went on to live all around the country, spending significant time in Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Ohio and the San Francisco Bay Area. He worked as an operations manager, and later went on to start his own business. Eventually he retired to Las Vegas to play poker and soak in the desert heat.

Tony loved to sing and whistle, loudly and publicly, so was easy to find in a crowd or a big box store. He was never embarrassed to have fun, and swept everyone along with him for it. He once out-sang a barbershop quartet at a TGI Friday’s, and they thought it was an unexpected and hilarious turn of events.

He was blessed with daughters Gina Parlato, Karen Barkley, Robin Parlato Kearby and April Parlato Maestas; grandchildren, Kourtnee Furtado, Justin Tompkins, Kevin Anthony Roeske, Christian James Roeske and Madison Renee Maestas; and several great-grandchildren.

His sister and closest friend, Donna Rust, and dogs Cocoa and Angel were his constant companions and greatest comfort in later years.
