Antonia Canete Landon, 84, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on 16 November 2020, with a room full of family at her bedside.
She battled liver cancer and she did it with strength & grace, but ultimately the cancer took over.

Antonia Canete Landon was born on 9 January 1936 in Lilo-An, Cebu, Philippines.
She is a survivor of WWII, when at age 5, her and her family fled from the Japanese.
After the War ended, she continued to reside in Lilo-An with her family until 1970.

In 1970, Antonia met John Elijah Landon and they wed on 4 April 1970 in Cebu, Philippines.
In Sept. 1970, Antonia received her visa to arrive in the United States to be with her newly husband, in Detroit, MI.
They went on to have 2 daughters and adopted 1 daughter. Antonia got nationalized in 1977 and completed her GED in 1978.
In 1978 Antonia and John moved to Spring, Texas where both continued to live and raise their daughters.

Antonia is survived by her daughter Marcela Comiskey, her husband Liam and their 2 boys Kieran and Declan and 2 girls Mariah & Michaela.
Her daughter Patricia Rigali, Tim and their daughter Sierra and son Dominick.

Antonia dedicate her life to be a fantastic and wonderful mother and grandmother and friend.
Antonia excelled at propping up her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives.
Antonia made her family her mission to love, teach, grow, help, support, and laugh with, to improve their lives first, before hers.
Antonia also made it known to her children who our heavenly father is and to trust not ourselves, but to trust God, Trust Jesus.
Whoever, Antonia would meet she was filled with warmth and kindness. She could be found always encouraging friends, families and strangers, that later became friends.
We will miss her greatly.

Antonia's Celebration of Life will be 12 December 2020 at 1:00 with the ceremony to begin 1:30 at 3423 Hickory Hollow Rd. Spring, TX 77380.
All family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Antonia, a child of God that she is, not in sorrow but in rejoice that she is in peace and with our Heavenly Father.
