Arturo S. Muñoz entered into rest on October 31, 2022 in Loma Linda, CA. He was born in Juarez, MX to Jesus Muñoz and Dora Soltero. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and earned 3 Bronze Stars, an Army Commendation Medal for Heroism, and was an expert rifleman before being Honorably Discharged. He married his wife, Cynthia R. Luna in 1971. They celebrated their 51st anniversary this year. He was a resident of San Bernardino County for 52 years and retired from the City of San Bernardino after 37 years of service. He was also a member of the Arden Hills SDA Church. Art will be remembered for his unconditional love for his family, his very generous heart, and his faithful service to God and Country. He was preceded in rest by his mother, Dora, and his sister, Mary Lou. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his daughters, Dina Silos (Joaquin), and Marisa Berg (Ron), grandsons, Robert M. Whitten and Jacob Z. Whitten, granddaughters, Adrianna M. Rayo (Tirso), Allise Berg, Abigail Henderson (Dustin), and 3 great-grandchildren, Scotland, Israel, and Holland as well as many extended family and friends, including his faithful pup, “Chico”. We love you and miss you Dad, Poppa, Gramps, Grandpa, Grandpompom. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 @ 1PM at the Arden Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5801 Arden Ave., Highland, CA. Interment will take place on Monday, January 23rd, 2023 @ 1PM at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA.
