Barbara Lee Hernly

Barbara Lee Hernly of 2139 Crenshaw Street, San Diego California, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. Barbara, also called “Marigold” by her many close friends, was born in Mercy Hospital, San Diego California on the 29th of July, 1948. Raised in El Cajon, she attended Holy Trinity grammar school and later Rosary High School where she was voted “Most Likely to Succeed” when she graduated in 1966. She attended San Francisco State University, and later San Diego State University where she graduated. She went on to work for General Dynamics as an Engineer and later became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in San Diego where her many listings were characterized by the statement; “Sold by Gold”.

She is survived by her younger sister, Virginia Hernly and older brother, John Hernly.
