We have lost someone very special, someone who touched many hearts.
And those hearts will touch many more,
And in that way, Bernie will always remain a part of us – a part of everything!

Bernie died peacefully at home as he had hoped. He is survived by his wife, Pat, three children: Chris and his wife Pam, Robin and her husband Jeb, and Kevin and his wife Wendy; and two step children: Michelle Loch and Justin Loch and his wife Mary Ann. He was a beloved grandfather of 17 (and 1 on the way), and he was a great-grandfather of 2.

He touched many lives with his wonderful gift for making people laugh and his famous sense of humor carried him through his many years of fighting some overwhelming medical problems. He was an inspiration to so many with his wonderful attitude and outlook on life. All who knew him loved him – and he will be missed by every person whose life he touched.
