Betty Ann Truby of San Marcos, TX, born on January 4th, 1949, by her mother, Oeena J. Burton Allaire, and her father, Edmund A. Allaire, went with grace alongside the Lord on March 14th, 2025, at 2:41 A.M. She left us at 76.
Betty was a wonderful wife to Larry G. Truby and a fantastic grandmother and mother. She often guided others, helping them with wisdom and being a stable foundation for many in her life. Her benevolence knew no bounds, and her strength was unmatched. She was a strong woman overall. Today, she lives on through her sister, Wilma Nell Burton, and her children, Edwina G. Truby, Ronald Dwayne Shastid, Darrin A. Truby, Larry G. Truby Jr., and Keela Silva, as well as many grandchildren and extended family.
Betty was also a Child of God; she worshiped and praised the Lord, seeking to bring peace, love, and joy to her family and those around her.
Our fond memories of her smile, laughter, and guidance are an extension of her will and spirit. Since Betty wished to be cremated, she shall; however, she also wished we celebrate life as she did. So, let us honor her wishes and have her live on through us.
