Bonnie Kanard

Bonnie was born on December 7, 1928 in Newton, Kansas and passed away on March 30, 2016 peacefully in her sleep at Aspen Village #3 in Yucca Valley, due to Alzheimer. She was 88 years 0ld and a resident of Yucca Valley for 26 years. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Gerhard and Florence Enns and sister Bettie (Enns) Trent. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Thomas J. Kanard, Daughters Tamara (Pittman) Solovy Baehr, Deborah (Pittman) Jones Stevens, Step daughter Rhonda (Kanard) Ryan, Step sons Rod and Ronnie Kanard, Grand sons R. J Solovy and Beau Johnston, Grand daughters Brooke Solovy and Lindsay Ryan, great grand daughters Zoe Ryan, and Aston Solovy.

She loved animals and used to take our labs for long runs and walks on the desert trails by the house.

Bonnie was a companion, friend, mother, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She had a beautiful smile that made me light up each day when I would visit her at Aspen. When I would enter, she would greet me with a big smile and say "there's my daddy" or "there's my honey, or "there's my Tommy". I miss these so much.

Bonnie became an avid football fan, right after we got married. We used to watch NFL games together. Her favorite team was the Oakland Raiders, mine is the Denver Broncos. At one time, when we lived in Cypress, we had season tickets for the Raider games.
