Budd Jerre Hall, 79, of Portland Oregon passed away May 5th, 2021 of natural causes. He was born January 19th, 1942 in Sterling Colorado to Bertram & Margaret (Curtis) Hall who preceded him in death.
He enjoyed a 49-year marriage to the love of his life, JoAnne (Matlock) Hall. He served in the US Navy as a radio operator from 1959-1962. He was a father, a husband, and prior to a stroke in 2006 he was a small business owner and an entrepreneur. He was tenacious, funny, charming, and though he could be tough on the outside he fiercely loved his family. In addition to his love for his family, he enjoyed music. He played guitar and drums by ear with his favorite music being Motown and the Blues. He also loved games and he could spell anything.
He is survived by his wife JoAnne Hall, 3 sons John Hall, Tony Hall, and Jeff Lee, and his 2 daughters Taylor Saxon and Deidre Hall. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday May 27th, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery, located at 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Happy Valley OR 97086, followed by an informal gathering at the Hall residence.
