Calvin Wilbur Stiles

Calvin (Cal) Wilbur Stiles, 88, Mesa, AZ, passed away on March 6, 2019. He was born Oct. 17, 1930, in Strafford, NH, the son of Harold S. and Neva L. Stiles. He married Corinne Foss Stiles on June 24, 1951, in Strafford, NH. He graduated from Austin-Cate Academy, Strafford, NH, and Saunders Electronic School, Boston, MA. He was employed at the family farm, (Stiles Dairy), until 1956. At that time he became employed by Craig System of Lawrence, MA where he enjoyed the electronics field for 15 years. In 1971 he and Corinne relocated to the Hanover, NH area where "Cal" was employed by Dartmouth Outdoor Sports, (an importer and wholesale distributor), for the next 10 years. He later worked at Saban Electric in Warner, NH, and then worked as a Manufacturer's Representative for 5 years. From 1951 to 1980 Cal was active in Civil Air Patrol, a volunteer search and rescue organization. In his spare time he enjoyed working on communications equipment and flying airplanes and held licenses in both fields. "Cal" and "Connie" both loved boating, motorcycling and after retirement enjoyed the RV lifestyle living full time in an RV and traveling the US for 11 years. They later settled in Mesa, AZ.
He is survived by Connie; 2 sons, Gary and Gregg; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
