Candice Sue Wells

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Candice Wells, who left us on January 15, 2025, at the age of 67, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 3, 1957, she was a source of strength and love to all who knew her.

Candy cherished her role as a devoted mother to her two daughters, and she was a proud grandmother to her six grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she found immense happiness in sharing precious moments with them.

Candy had a deep faith in the Lord that carried her through to the end. A true ocean lover, she found peace and solace by the water. She had a special affinity for enjoying a cold Coca Cola, and her passion for all things food brought friends and family together, creating unforgettable memories and shared laughter.

Despite facing several health challenges, Candy displayed remarkable strength and resilience throughout her life. She fought bravely, reminding us all of the importance of love, family, and perseverance.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Anne and the caring staff at Find Joy Adult Family Home. Their unwavering support, friendship, and compassionate care during Candy’s journey provided comfort to her and our family.

Candy is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (James) Kerby, Jamie (Chad) Dimon. Her six grandchildren Porter, Oliver, Gabriella, Eliana, Sophie, Samuel. Four sisters, Laurie (Michael) Hipple, Karen (David) Larson, Cindy (Scott) Stoumbaugh, Kimmy (Richard) Kerby, and countless nieces, nephews and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared with all of us.

A celebration will be held to honor her life and legacy, February 25, 2025. Summit Christian Center - Tacoma at 10:00am

Rest in peace, You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
