Carol Ann Timm (Campbell) was born on December 24, 1940. She passed away on June 8, 2018. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Marcia and John T. Campbell. She graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1958 in Silverdale, Washington. When she was 11 years old she moved from Kansas City to Bremerton, Washington. She met her husband of 58 years, Thomas Timm, when she was 14 years old. They met at a lake party and they have been together ever since; despite her parents claiming their marriage would never last. They were married on February 6, 1960. They have two sons together, Jeffrey and Mark Timm. They purchased their first home in West Seattle in 1960 and resided there for 6 years, then moved to Renton, Washington for 6 years before moving to their lake house in Bonney Lake, Washington where they lived for 30 years. Tom and Carol then decided to move to Burien, Washington to be closer to their three granddaughters. She lived the remainder of her life there, for 18 years.
Carol was an avid waterskier for most of her life, continuing to water ski off and on until she was 74 years old. She was a very active member of the Lake Tapps water ski club when she and Tom lived on Lake Tapps. She was the bookkeeper for the Inlet Island Maintenance Company for 36 years, continuing to serve them even after moving to Burien. Carol was a fun and adventurous woman. She loved to waterski, snow ski, scuba dive, travel, spend time with her granddaughters, among many other things. She loved to be near and on the water. She and Tom owned many boats over the years, some to waterski behind and others to travel around the Puget Sound. They also owned a condo in Maui, Hawaii for 20 years. They had countless adventures with their friends, family, and together.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Timm; sons Jeffrey and Mark Timm; granddaughters Nicole Partington, Regan and Kirsten Timm; brother and sister-in-law David and Joan Campbell; brother-in-law Bill Timm; nephews Brian and John Campbell, Terrence and Billy Timm; nieces Dixie Swedsted and Diana Dryden; grand-nieces Avery, Blakely, and Harper Caroline Campbell. She is preceded in death by her parents Marcia and John T. Campbell and her brother Michael Campbell.
