Carol Beckner Wells, 74, passed away peacefully March 22, 2024.

Carol was born on October 11, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. She is survived by her children, Lisa
Wansley, Christine Adams, and Stanley Norris; grandchildren, Justin Gray, Jordan Gray, Brooke
Adams, and Daniel Norris, best friend whom she considered a sister, Nancy Pooley, as well as
many other extended family members and beloved friends.

Carol was a hard worker and dedicated several decades as the assistant to the president of the
company TruVance. She was loyal, dependable, and brilliant. She also spent time drawing
maps for emergency services for Bellsouth.

Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother who supported and loved her family throughout
her life. She loved playing card games with her friends and family and was fiercely competitive.
She always said, ¨There are no friends at a card table.¨ She had a heart of gold and was always
willing to help anyone in need. Carol was passionate about animals and had a lifelong love of
horses. She spent many years barrel racing, doing obstacle challenges, showing in Western
Pleasure events, and trail riding through the forest. She also loved dogs and cats and has had
many Chihuahuas ever since childhood including her beloved side-kick, ¨Lil´Bit¨.

Carol will be joined across the rainbow bridge by all of the animals she has loved and saved
throughout the years as well as her father, Denny Beckner, mother, Doris Gordy, brother,
Stanley Beckner, and long time partner Thomas Reeves.

A celebration of life will be held at the familyś home on April 13th for close family and friends.
