Carole L. Cunningham passed away on February 23, 2014 of natural causes, in her home, in San Francisco, CA. She was 66 years old at the time. She is survived by her only child, daughter, Julie D. Knox, age 33 years old. Carole was born in Galveston, TX to Hunter Cunningham and Eunice “Sunshine” Reynolds on December 19th, 1947. She was an excellent student in her youth, and displayed an exceptional work ethic, proving to be intelligent, efficient, and hard-working in any task she undertook. Her primary trade was administrative work in the insurance and legal fields, where she was often well-received by peers and superiors. She moved to San Francisco from Texas in 1978. As a single mother, she was loving and devoted in rearing her daughter. Some of Carole’s interests included sporting events, movies, and dining, which she shared with her daughter. She was deeply spiritual and loved and praised the Lord until her last days. She was kind, generous, and selfless, with a loving tender heart, touching many lives with her contagious sense of humor, bright spirit, and positive influence. She lived to be in service for others for her entire life, and was a generous contributor to society. Carole was a truly Great Lady, that made it a priority to sacrifice for others above herself. She will be remembered as a most selfless and humble person. She was greatly loved and adored by her daughter, and will be missed incessantly. May Carole, (the obedient one in Christ’s service) rest in peace, and soar with Angels.
As per Carole’s wishes, her remains are to be cremated, and ashes returned to her daughter to scatter out to the San Francisco Bay. She has also requested no service arrangements be made.
