Carole (Carrie) Ann Hamilton Passed away unexpectedly at home in Lakewood, CA on October 23, 2018. She was born December 30, 1937 to Joseph T. Grayston and Kathryne M. (Bradshaw) Grayston in Bell, CA. Raised in South Gate, CA. Lived in Lakewood, CA from 1965-2018.
A loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, then opened her own business: Carrie's Doll House in 1981 in Lakewood, CA and relocated to Bellflower, CA in 1988 until 1994 when she sold the shop and retired. A doll maker and doll and teddy bear collector for many years. She developed many lasting friendships thru the shop and the mutual love of dolls, her little doll shop was known for quality and integrity.
Survived by her brother Bill Grayston (Marilyn), her Sons Del Jr. (Cathy), Patrick, Michael, and Christopher. Grandchildren Cynthia, Christina, Doug, Shelly, Joseph, and Isabella. Great Grandchildren Liam, Cali, Cora, and Hadyn. Last but not least her cute canine companions Keily and Cassie. Predeceased by her loving Husband Del Hamilton, their Son Dennis Hamilton, her Sister Frances Grayston Dawson, her Brother Thomas J. Grayston, Patrick's Wife Caryl Hamilton, and her Sister-in-Law Ferne Hamilton.
Devoted to home and family, the most important elements in life. She now rejoins her loving family in heaven.
