Carolyn Helen Gonzales

Carolyn Helen Gonzales was born in Los Angeles, CA on April 7, 1937. She peacefully began her eternal life in Heaven on May 7, 2025.

Carolyn began her early youth years in southern California. The rest of her life was spent in Hanford CA and in her hometown of Lemoore. She appreciated the small-town life and especially enjoyed living outside the city, in the country where it was most peaceful.

Carolyn found much joy in volunteer work. Her passion to volunteer began at Saint Peters Church. She joined a bible study group that she loved, and it was there she made some wonderful life-time friendships. She became involved as a member of the Altar Society group and the Hora Apostolica Catholic group. She practiced fellowship with the Christian meditation group. She also became one of the original 5 members Eucharistic Adoration Leadership Team to start Perpetual Adoration at our new parish location. She was a part of the adoration ministry leadership for many years.

Carolyn also loved to travel and found much joy and laughter traveling with family (cousins) who guided her and cared for her along their adventures.

Carolyn began her career working for Kings County Job training office in Hanford, CA as a coordinator. She enjoyed her job and worked for Kings County for 34 years until her retirement in January 2011.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gonzales, her mother and stepfather Mary and Bob Cano, her sister Gloria Ramos, her brother Robert Lopez and her daughter Patty Reed.

Carolyn is survived by her sons Rick Delgado of Arroyo Grande, Stephen Delgado of Lemoore, Dominic Gonzales of Sacramento, and daughter Linda Stangle of Lemoore. She will be dearly missed by her 9 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will forever be missed by her family and many dear friends. May she rest in peace.
