On Sunday morning, August 16, 2020, Carroll P. Gorg, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84 with his wife of 59 years at his side.

Carroll was a fixture in his community, active at Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Knights of Columbus, and Tualatin Valley Elks. He was also a member of the Korean War Veteran's Association and the American Legion.

Born in Tacoma, WA., Carroll graduated from Bellarmine High. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and used the G.I. Bill to get a B.A. in Education & M.Ed. from Central Washington U. He married Roberta and they had two daughters. He retired after 20 years as an educator in Oregon, at OSU and PSU. He sold and serviced computers for many years and served as a Knights of Columbus insurance agent.

In retirement, Carroll enjoyed traveling the world with Roberta, when he wasn't working in his yard, socializing with friends, or organizing Christmas baskets for Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta, daughters Jennifer (Tad) Patton and JoEllen, grandson Philip, and siblings Bernadette, Gerald, Ralph, Kaymarie, Therese, Lynell, and Lawrence. He was predeceased by his sister Sherylann.

A funeral mass will be held on July 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Lake Oswego, OR, with interment on July 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellensburg, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to:
