Catherin JoAnn Redwine
March 7th, 1952 – August 11th, 2016
Catherin JoAnn Redwine peacefully joined her angels and maker in heaven on August, 11th 2016, at her home of 24 years in Puyallup, Washington where she lived her entire life. At her request a Celebration of Life was held for her family and friends in her honor.
She was 64 years old and the first born of Jim and JoAnn Neeley on March 7th, 1952 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She attended Spinning Elementary School, East Jr. High (Kalles) and Puyallup High School graduating with the class of 1970.
Cathie was a beautiful woman inside and out. Loved skiing, softball and her first and only love, Chuck. They met on a blind date, August 11th 1967, when she was 15 years old, married January 16th 1971 and remained helplessly devoted in love for 45 ½ years.
She was an exceptionally strong, compassionate, forgiving, loving, faithful and spiritual soul. Her generosity, kindness and selflessness were unequalled and felt by all those who had the pleasure of her friendship and acquaintance.
Even in her passing her thoughtfulness abounds and will continue to live on, as she gifted an elderly woman with sight.
She had an amazing sense of humor, adored books and loved all pretty things, but mostly and above she was dedicated to her family and friends.
Cathie is survived by her husband & soul mate Chuck Redwine, children; Chad and Ali Redwine, her sisters; Debbie Jacobson and Laura Davis, her brother; Tim Neeley, as well as Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Words do not express what a kind, compassionate, devoted, generous, forgiving, unconditionally loving and spiritual soul she was. She will be forever missed but always with us. Her spirit lives on in each of us lucky enough to be blessed by her life and love.
"God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. He wrapped his arms around you and whispered, "Come To Me." You didn't deserve what you went through so he gave you needed rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the BEST!
-Frances & Kathleen Coelho
Cathie donated to numerous charities her entire adult life. We ask anyone wishing to gift in her honor to consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as she was committed to their cause.
Thank you, her family.
