Cecil Junior Berry

Cecil J Berry, born February 2,1926 in Benton, Oklahoma, passed peacefully at 92 years of age on November 23, 2018. He proudly served his country as a Marine during WW11 and then married Rebecca Franklin. He achieved his Masters Degree in education from Chapman University and pursued a career in education that culminated with his serving as Director of Special Education for Orange County, CA.

He retired from Education at 60 years of age and then enjoyed an additional 32 years of golf, travel, bowling, hunting, and fishing. Golf was his sport of choice and he managed 8 hole-in-ones as well as 3 albatross's (double eagles) on par fives.

Cecil is survived by his son Norman and daughter-in-law Nellie, his step-daughter Peggy, his brother Jerry, his grandchildren Erica, Sean, Heath, Ariel, Rick, and Jenny and a large number of great-grandchildren. Waiting for him in heaven are his first wife Rebecca, his second wife Dorothy, and his good friend Lois. Also waiting to greet him are his siblings LeRoy, JD, Betty and Lita.

He elected cremation and his ashes will be scattered adjacent to the ashes of Rebecca as per his wishes.

There will be a celebration of life for him at the Berry residence in Norco, CA in February of 2019.
