Charles Richard Wagner, Jr.

Charles R Wagner, Jr, age 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Orange Park.  He was born on July 28, 1965, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the son of Charles and Helen Wagner (both deceased). He was a 1983 graduate of Orange Park High School.  He joined the United States Navy soon after high school and enlisted as an Aviation Machinist Mate, retiring after 20 years of service as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.  He is survived by his two sisters, Marilyn Tillery and Cynthia Wagner; three nieces, Catherine (Dustin) Hinton, Tiffany (Jessie) Schaubel and Stephanie (Patrick) McFetridge; as well as many great-nephews and great-nieces, uncle, cousins and friends.  Family and friends are invited to a graveside memorial service at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS in Orange Park, 111 Blanding Blvd., on October 7th, 2023, at 11:00 in the morning.
