Charlotte Ann Lubbes

Charlotte Anne Lubbes, Age 71 of Peoria IL, passed away peacefully May 19th, 2021, at her home in Hillsboro, OR.

Charlotte or as she was affectionately called, Mom and Nana was born in Peoria, Il March 19th, 1950, as the second child of five siblings. She moved to Coos Bay, OR at the age of 2 where she would later graduate a proud Marshfield Pirate in 1968. This major accomplishment was followed by the birth of her baby girl in 1969. Charlotte quickly learned of her affinity for interacting with customers, taking orders, serving snacks and drinks which was skillfully coupled with the ability to shuffle cards and count chips while dealing blackjack. Her familiar face and infectious laugh would often fill bowling alleys and bars as she practiced her aim. It was on this wild journey of crazy shenanigans and many the momentous party did she meet the love of her life, and later marry him on July 25th, 2004. With an adventurous spirit and quick wit, she was sure to have a funny story that everyone enjoyed listening to. Especially her great granddaughter that arrived September 29th, 2013. Charlotte was generous to her family and friends, and those who knew her best were often privileged to one of her home cooked meals.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents Harold and Margaret Grant, her brother Brad Grant, niece Aubrey Bailey and stepdaughter Jennifer Lubbes. She leaves to carry on her memory her loving husband Keith Lubbes, dear daughter Rebecca V. Pinello, grandchildren Jordan E. Newell and partner Taesha M. Seevers, Wylie J. Licea, great granddaughters Keagan L. Newell and Taylor Lubbes, siblings Brian Grant, Cheryl Keetch, Judy Stringfield, and stepdaughter Jayme Lubbes.

A Memorial will be held on June 19th, 2021 at 2:00pm at Maguffy's Pub in Hillsboro, OR located at 2401 NE Cornell Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97124.
