Cindy A. Snitchler

Cindy Ann Snitchler, 70, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at 10:41 pm.  She was born on November 21, 1955, to David Steagall and Nancy Lehman Steagall in Sterling, IL.  Cindy was a college graduate and has always been dedicated and hardworking during her 25+ years as a plant manager at Sterling Medical Products.  Followed by an 11-year career at State Farm Insurance where she retired.   Cindy was a very loving and devoted mother to her daughters, Joanne Elizabeth and Michelle Rebecca.  Cindy would do whatever her daughters needed or wanted including sewing barbie clothes to help make Halloween costumes.  The house was always filled with singing and dancing, as well as "new recipe week."  

Cindy enjoyed reading, fishing, motorcycle rides, paint by number paintings, puzzles, and spending time with her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She loved to spend time reading the bible and going to church.  

Cindy is survived by her daughters Joanne Elizabeth Bender (Eric Rascon) and Michelle Rebecca Liebenstein; 7 grandchildren: Damien Bender (Kinley Bender), Alexandria Bender (Zachary Michel), Brittney Bender, Caden Liebenstein (Faith Liebenstein), Andruw Bender, Grant Liebenstein, Brayden Bender, and 5 great-grandchildren:  Jazmyn Bender, Evalyn Krug, Haedyn Krug, Hudsyn Krug, Oliver Bender; Siblings:  John Steagall (Carole Steagall), Tammy Henderson (Mike Henderson), Debby Scalet (Steve Scalet).   She was loved by many friends and extended family members.  She is going to be missed dearly.  

She was preceded in death by her parents David and Nancy Steagall, brother Michael and her infant brother James.  

Cindy was a free-spirited God-fearing woman.
