Cynthia Cornil Asprey

Cynthia “Cindy” Asprey, born April 21, 1951, in California, passed away surrounded by love. She is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Pete; her children, David and Jenna; her brothers, Don and Paul; her sisters, Karen, Martha, and Jan; and her beloved grandchildren, Anna, Alan, Vika, Sasha, and Bogdan.

Cindy loved life deeply and lived it fully. An adventurous spirit, she made her home in Arizona, New Mexico, California, Alaska, and Washington, embracing each chapter with curiosity and courage.

She was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy was her family, extended family, and friends. Cindy was an artist in many forms, most especially a gifted quilter whose creations will be treasured for generations. She was also an accomplished athlete, earning national honors in the breaststroke — a reflection of her determination and strength.

Cindy brought light and laughter wherever she went. Her quick wit and joyful spirit kept those around her smiling. Professionally, she worked in several fields, including financial management, and earned a degree in computing — an achievement that reflected both her intelligence and perseverance.

She was the beautiful star and life and light of our world, and she will be deeply missed beyond words.
