Daniel Arthur Hultman

Daniel “Doc” Arthur Hultman was born on February 6, 1948 in White Bear Lake, MN. to his parents Gordon and Ardella Hultman. He was the oldest of five kids. Daniel went into the military as a young man where he was a Corps. Man in the Navy. That was were he learned the valuable medical skills that helped him succeed in gaining his Masters from USC Medical School after exiting the service. Dan was special enough to have found love twice in his life. From that, he was granted the best gifts he could have received, his two daughters, Michelle & Brandee. Daniel was battling cancer which unfortunately won. He passed peacefully in the hospital on December 9, 2025 with his daughter, Michelle, by his side.

Daniel dedicated his life to service. After serving in the military, he became a PA in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, which he absolutely loved. He found joy in training new hires, new and upcoming doctors, nurses & staff, but what brought him the most joy in his career was all the lives he was able to help. Daniel really enjoyed the connections he made with his patients. Dan spent over 30 years of his life doing what he loved before he hung up the white coat for good. But, he still enjoyed getting asked medical questions from us at home. He said it helped keep him young.

Those that knew Dan best knew that he had a love for fast things. He loved watching & attending NHRA races, NASCAR races & boat racing. He was also a big sports fan from golf, to horse racing, but most of all he loved his football. He was a HUGE Minnesota Vikings fan, as he was from there, and a 49ers fan for his California team. Daniel also enjoyed bowling. It seemed to run in the family from his mom to him to his daughters. The best part about Dan was his big heart. He cared for so many and wanted to spread as much care, love & joy he possibly could.

Daniel is survived by his daughters Michelle & Brandee, his grandchildren Trista & Anna, his great grandchildren Caleb, Aiden, Maverick, & Teddy, his brothers Donald & Dale, his nephews Reid, David, & Austin and his nieces Rachel, Emily, Ginny, & Stephanie. He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon & Ardella, his brother David, his sister Dawn, his brother-in-law Irvine, & his nephew Alexander “Alex”.

In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate in Daniel’s name. Please consider these charities below that he was a part of as he enjoyed donating each year.
