Daniel Pavich was born August 22, 1922 in St. Paul, Minnesota and passed away on April 12, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona at age 95. While he was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his heart and soul were forever drawn to California as soon as he met Desa Pecel, who was to become his wife and companion of 69 years until her passing on August 1, 2017. Danny was everyone's favorite Kum, Uncle, friend, and co-worker. He was the life of every party and gathering, and brought joy and laughter to everyone he came in contact with. As a first generation Serb born in America, he spoke perfect Serbian right up to the day of his passing, and truly enjoyed his Serbian heritage and circle of friends. He was a lifelong golfer, worked at Westlake Golf Course from 1988 until 2016, and was still playing golf two days a week at the age of 93. He was a picture of health and vitality his entire life, with his only visits to doctors being those required by health insurance companies for check ups.
Per Danny's request there will be no formal church services, and he will be interred alongside his wife Desa at Saint Sava Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
His family asks that all who knew him not shed sad tears, but rather think of happy times that each and everyone who knew him had with him, and have a smile in his memory instead.
