Darcie Ann Litchfield (Fisher)

Darcie Ann Litchfield (Fisher), age 42, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on Monday September 18th, surrounded by her loving family.

Darcie was born on January 24, 1981 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the daughter of Christine (Chris) Stanley Fisher and Mitchell C Fisher. She grew up in Stevens Point, graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High in 1999.  She went on to start a successful career at Sentry Insurance.  She grew quickly at the company, working in numerous positions, eventually relocating to their Scottsdale location.  Darcie met her husband Josh in Stevens Point.  They married in August of 2003.  Together they relocated to the Phoenix area to pursue their careers and start a family.

Darcie and her family called Phoenix home for the last 18 years.  She adored her three boys and loved spending time with them and attending their many sporting events to cheer them on. She enjoyed game nights and socializing with friends and neighbors and spending time outdoors hiking and exploring the hills and mountains around Arizona.  She also had a passion for journaling and writing poetry.

Darcie is survived by her three sons, Parker, Cohen and Beckett and her ex-husband and dear friend, Josh Litchfield, her mother, Christine Fisher of Stevens Point and her father Mitchell (Liz) Fisher of Stevens Point, her brothers Matt (Maggie) Fisher of Sun Prairie and Mike (Carie) of Milton Wisconsin.  Darcie was a loving aunt to Keira and Owen Fisher of Milton and to Noah and Ella Fisher of Sun Prairie.  She is further survived by her aunts Jean (Bob) Chesney of Stevens Point and Mary Stanley (Rick Neier) of Chandler Arizona and her uncle Jack (Bonnie) Stanley of Stevens Point. Her aunt, Lynn Stanley (Gary Schultz) preceded her in death.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix for their support and compassion during Darcie's final journey.  And a special thank you to her nurses, Carrie and Kaelen, who also became her special friends.  Thank you also to the family and friends who came from near and far to visit Darcie one last time and truly brightened her day.

A gathering for family and close friends was held in Darcie's honor in Phoenix.

A celebration of life is being planned for Darcie at Memories Banquet Hall at Springville Sports Grill, 2811 Plover Springs Dr, Plover, WI on November 11th, 2023 from 11 am to 3 pm.

A memorial fund for Darcie's boys' education has been established at gofund.me/7430e130.
