Darrell Powers Klopp

Darrell Powers Klopp, 86, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 2, 1940, to Gerald and Dee Klopp in Sheridan, WY. Graduated Millikan HS, 1958. Served US Navy, Aviation Electronics Technician Second Class, 1958-1962. Married Marsha Johnston on June 23, 1962. Earned his BOS in Public Management, Pepperdine University, 1974. Served HBPD, 1967-1994, Sergeant. Awarded the Medal of Valor,1979. Darrell and Marsha enjoyed a beautiful life together in Huntington Beach, traveling and spending time with family and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother Paul. Survived by his son Darren, daughter-in-law Maria, daughter Dawn, grandchildren Mandy and Noah, brother Gary and sister Dee Ann. He was loved and adored by all of his in-laws, nieces and nephews. COL to be held at a later date.
