David Lawrence Larsen (89), of West Allis, WI and Apache Junction, AZ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Dave was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Dave loved sports and was an accomplished golfer, baseball player and fisherman amongst other pursuits, including a love of gardening learned from his parents Ann (Rota) and father Mervyn (Mike). He was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Professional Golf Association. Dave was an itinerant salesperson where his friendly demeanor and customer service focus earned him many awards and accolades. A devout Catholic, he volunteered his time with the West Allis Knights of Columbus.

A special thank you to the amazing team at Lexington Heritage Assisted Living Facility in Greenfield, WI for their loving care and support during his final months.

A formal funeral attended by family and friends would be difficult during these coronavirus pandemic times. Instead, his family will celebrate his life at a future date once COVID-19 releases its grip on this nation making it safer to gather together. To this end, the family is assembling memories of humor, charity, assistance, generosity and any of the countless ways he touched the lives of others, so that a story can emerge where all can gain more poignant insight into the special person that was Dave Larsen. Please send your memories and stories to his son Mike at mikelarsen6@gmail.com. Mike will also be happy to contact any interested parties for details of this future celebration.
