Dennis Edward Chambers, Passed away Friday July 19th, at his beloved home in Castle Rock, WA.

Born June 29th, 1945 in Lovington, New Mexico, he was the son of the late Jasper Alexander Chambers and Gladys Earlene Chambers.

Dennis graduated from Goldendale high school in 1963, he worked for the D.N.R as a fire fighter, drove log truck and ended his work career retiring from local 701, Operating Engineers at 30 years of service. He loved spending time his children, grand children, friends and family. He had a deep love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, shooting, riding horses and trail riding on dirt bikes, utv's, snow mobiles.

He always spent every minute he could with his grappies or his grand children as he affectionately called them, spending time around camp fires, around the farm or down by the river fishing and swimming. He was always full of pranks, jokes and kindness who many will always remeber.

Dennis is survived by two sons, Shawn Chambers and his wife Lisa of Castle Rock, Wa. Lance Chambers and his fiancé Andrea of Longview, Wa. and Daughter Denise James and her fiancé Dave Burch of Claskanie Or. Seven grand Children, Nick, Stuart, Eric, Jarrett, Danika, Trista, Jasmine, Lakisha and 4 great grand children, Hailey, Aria, Ryder, and Oaklynn, along with his brother Jasper Chambers and his wife Marga, Sister Kay Dawson and her husband Bill and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his sister Bessie Bergsma and nephew Dennis Bergsma and nephew Kelly Dawson.

Death may have taken you away from us, but our lifes hero you'll forever be.
