With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dianne Marie Guytan, who left this world on June 18, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on August 5, 1946, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Dianne was a beacon of compassion and love, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of all who were privileged to know her.

Dianne was the cherished daughter of Vincent and Ernestine Roberts, who preceded her in death. Growing up in Owensboro, she nurtured her caring spirit, which would later define her life and relationships. A dedicated and compassionate individual, Dianne pursued a career in nursing, graduating from the Owensboro School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her first job at Daviess County Hospital Pediatrics set the stage for a lifelong devotion to caring for others. Dianne eventually retired from Richardson Medical Center, where she worked diligently in scheduling, always prioritizing the needs of her patients and colleagues.

On December 10, Dianne married the love of her life, Vincent Paul Guytan, in her hometown of Owensboro. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Vincent Paul Guytan; her sons, Vincent Paul Guytan II and John David Guytan; her daughters-in-law, Ha Guytan and Kelli Guytan; and her beloved grandchildren: Aianna, Larson, Naima, and Luke Guytan. She will also be missed by her dear cousin, Francie Dunbar Neat, who held a special place in her heart.

Dianne’s life was a beautiful testament to unwavering devotion, rooted in her deep love for God, her children, and grandchildren. She lived with kindness, faith, and compassion, embracing everyone she met with warmth and acceptance. Her days were spent planting seeds of love, faith, and friendship wherever she went, always putting others before herself.

Whether she was baking Christmas cookies with her grandkids, playing Mahjong, shopping, or laughing at her favorite TV comedies, Dianne found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved sharing her favorite meals—steak, ribs, Vincent’s famous barbecue chicken, Coke Zero, pumpkin pie, and Mexican food—with those she cherished most. She had found joy in Zumba and Jazzercise classes occasionally as she liked to dance, always embracing life with a joyful heart.

In her later years, Dianne's home in Plano, Texas, became a hub for family gatherings, where her warmth and laughter created an atmosphere of joy and love. She cherished every moment spent with her family, delighting in their accomplishments and supporting them through challenges. Dianne’s legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Dianne's remarkable life will be held on July 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano, Texas. We invite all who knew and loved Dianne to join us in honoring her memory and the beautiful life she lived.

She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for the love she gave and the lives she touched.
