     Donald E. Lohr, 90, of Winnetka, CA, formerly of Edinboro, PA, died Thursday, September 8, 2022 in California. He was born in Clarion County PA on May 10, 1932 to the late Maurice Lohr and Florence Lohr.

Don grew up in Clarion, Sommerset, and Crawford Counties, Pennsylvania with his parents and siblings. He was a lineman in Cambria County in the early 1950’s, a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Germany 1954-56, he worked at General Electric in Erie, PA, before becoming an over the road semi-driver for various companies for many years until his retirement in 2010.

Don loved to travel across the US in his Big Rig. He loved his dog, Blackie, watching westerns on TV, playing the Wii with his grandkids, and watching his two grandson’s play baseball for Edinboro Little League and later General McLane High School.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Baby Boy Lohr and Darrell Lohr; two brothers, Paul Jordan, and Charles Lohr; former In-Laws Grace and Arthur Pieper and Fermina Leviste, Brenda's Mom.

Don is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Lohr, Winnetka, CA; his Ex-Wife Norma Pieper Lohr, Edinboro, PA ; a daughter, Dawn Johnson(David), Edinboro, PA  and a son, David E. Lohr, Edinboro, PA; six grandchildren, Kimberly Lohr, Edinboro, PA Grace Boyle (Sam),Gibsonia, Pa,  Hannah Johnson, Beaver Falls, PA,  Rachel Tipping (Luke), Black Mountain, NC,  Shane Johnson, Edinboro, PA and Grady Johnson, Edinboro, PA; four great grandchildren, Theodora Curtis, Finnley Johnson-Daire, Penny Johnson-Daire, and Aurthur Lohr-Czerkies; four sisters, Shirley Furry Porter, Audrey Cleland (Chip), Judy Sargent, and Rosalee Antalek (Ken); Three Brothers, Edwin Lohr ( Pat), Harve Lohr, and Russel Lohr; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of life service will be held at Franklin Center United Methodist Church, Edinboro, PA  on Sunday, October 9th at 2pm.
