Donald Reese Prickett

Donald "Don" Reese Prickett, of Spokane Valley WA. passed away Friday, June 15th in his home of natural causes. He was 87 years old. Don is survived by his loving wife Norma of 37 years, his children, Debbie Hansch of Graham, WA; Donald Prickett Jr. of Spokane, WA.; Randy Prickett of Graham, WA; Jerry Rosenthal of Spokane, WA; Tom Thompson of Spokane, WA; Tim Thompson of Spanaway, WA; Jim Thompson of Spokane, WA; Cheryl Anthony of Spokane, WA; 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. Don was born on August 18, 1930 in Spokane WA. to Joseph and Norma Prickett. He graduated from West Valley High School in 1950. After high school he joined the Air Force and worked as a cook during the Korean War. Upon his return he served the Spokane area as a firefighter, retiring after 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family and friends at his cabin and river property in St, Maries ID. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Lodge in Greenacres WA. on Saturday, June 30th at 2:00 P.M.
