Donna Lee Metcalf

My Mother Donna Lee Metcalf ,' Mommi' as I still called her during last days of Hospice .She passed in her sleep, no pain! Born Febuary 20 1936 in Danville, Illinois. she was the 7th of eight children of Clarence and Edith Evans. Donna moved from Springfield IL to Phoenix AZ with her two daughters and a black cat named Quentin mid 70's. She was giving and caring. She loved all animals.. Cats were her thing! She was protective of us girls. Teenage girls in Phoenix?!How she survived!! A cross between organized chaos and "Ill handle it"!! She was a great single mother. Circa 1975 moved to Las Vegas NV. She worked at corporate United Airlines office. Great benefits as she liked to travel. Being a beautiful young women in Vegas, Cocktail Waitress sounded right. Memories of me counting her change on the floor in our living room after her shift from casinos in town. she worked as a para-legal secretary. She was loved and loved back by her granddaughters  Jackie Pappan 1990-2017 and Taylor Catlett 1997                            May she rest Peacefully          Love Kandi and Cyndi
