Donna Teichow left the world peacefully on April 29, 2023 after an arduous battle with several health challenges.
In her final hours, she was surrounded by her loving husband of forty-five years, Bill, two daughters; Tena and Breezy, and Breezy's partner; Connor.
A native Washingtonian, Donna spent her formative years in the City of Everett growing up with seven siblings. Donna was an avid athlete in her early days, participating in numerous sports including softball, tennis, soccer, and golf. Donna had a passion for boating, having spent decades with her family on the waters of the Pacific Northwest, including many trips to Canada and the San Juan Islands. During many Seafair weekends, Donna could be found on Lake Washington as a volunteer for the hydroplane races. Donna’s professional pursuits included positions as a school bus driver, distributor for Nordstrom, and a bank teller. Donna was a volunteer at a foodbank and contributed to other favorite causes such as her local theatre company. Donna was a voracious reader, having been known to read every Steven Speilberg book, Ann Rule true crime, and the Seattle Times on Sunday morning from front to back. Donna loved children and was drawn to them, with an insatiable passion for newborns and toddlers.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Forest and Florence Siltman, brothers Byron Forsman and Leroy Siltman, sister Barbara Morris (Bill), and her first born son, Tad Blake.
In addition to her husband and daughters, Donna is survived by her remaining brother, Charles Forsman, sisters Karolyn Ghosn (George), Marilyn Lundquist (Mary), Debbie Bachofner (Steve) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration for family and friends of Donna’s will be scheduled in summer of 2023 with details to follow.
