Donnie Jean Galloway

Donnie Jean (Donna) was born March 18, 1949 in Miles City, MT to William and Betty Jean Owens. After her parents divorced, she was raised by her dad who was a long-haul truck driver. Because of this she spent a lot of time while growing up with her very special grandma, Doris, in Miles City. During her youth she moved around between Montana, California, and Tacoma, WA before settling in Spokane, WA in the 3rd grade. She graduated from University High School in 1967. While on a blind date, she met the love of her life, V.T. “Jack” Galloway, shortly after graduating high school and married him 6 months later on January 19th, 1968. They spent their lives in Spokane Valley, WA, raising 3 kids and then spoiling all of their grandkids and adopted grandkids.

Over the years mom worked as a waitress, clerk, and caregiver, but her biggest joy was her family. Mom leaves a legacy of kindness and love behind her. She loved others boldly and without judgment and always had a kind word for everyone. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and shared the Gospel with anyone who would listen. She had a sweet spirit; making friends wherever she went and was generous to a fault. Donna is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack, her children Bill, Jason (Melanie), and Angie (Brian), grandchildren Garret, Hayden, Hailey, Jamison, Jocelyn, Isabella, Kyle, Skyler, Kenna, Keegan, Bailey, Boden, Sloane, Laine, Jase and Logan, brother Will Larsen, sisters Easter Stepper, Aarita Reber, Laverna Ruggiero, and Shawnda Goodson. Preceded in death by her parents, Bill Owens and Betty Larsen, beloved grandmother Doris, and her brother Wayne Larsen.

Celebration of Life will be 2pm on February 1st at North Bridge Church in Otis Orchards, WA.
