Doris Edna Tegzes

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Doris Edna Tegzes, who left us on December 11, 2024 at the age of 93.

Doris was born October 14, 1931 in Trenton, New Jersey where she lived until moving to Florida in 1968. She lived in South Florida until 2010 when her husband, George Tegzes Jr passed away. She then moved to Clermont, Florida where, she lived until her death.

Doris is survived by son James Butler, daughters Deborah Pittman and Jacqueline Albandor, stepson John Tegzes, stepdaughters Francine and Ramona Tegzes, brother Eugene Roth Jr, grandchildren Jasen, Jesse, and Jennifer Butler, Matthew and Elena Albandor, Stephen and Melissa Beltz, Vanessa and Amanda Albandor, Jessica Crane, great-grandchildren Jensen, James, and Jack Butler, Haily Albandor, Tristen, Madison, and Logan Beltz, Jamie Vazquez, Isabella Cerna, Kevin, Devin, and Victoria Burns, and Aden Sanmartin.

Doris was preceded in death by parents Eugene and Edna Roth, husband George Tegzes Jr, stepson George Tegzes III,
granddaughter Jacqueline Butler, and great-granddaughter Angela Vazquez.

Full of love and laughter, Doris touched the lives of all who knew her. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Ferndale Baptist Church, located at 15050 County Road 561A, Clermont, FL 34715-8714, on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 4pm, visitation from 3:30 to 4pm.
