Dorothy Joy Fitzgerald

Dorothy Fitzgerald passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her son and daughter. Dorothy was born with a gift for art and started drawing as a young child. She saw everything through the eyes of an artist. Later she would turn what she saw into beautiful oil paintings. She had a very successful career, selling her paintings in galleries for over thirty years. She also turned that talent into a teaching career helping others to learn how to paint. Working into her late 80's, Dorothy was devoted to her students, full of energy and never slowed down until a few months before the end. She left the world a more beautiful, colorful place.
