Doyle Ray Cornman, 78, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 10, 1945 in Missouri to Oscar and Mildred Cornman.
Doyle was a beloved husband to Anna Sue, a devoted father to Jared & Juliene Cornman, a cherished grandfather to Ainsley and Rhett Cornman, and a loyal friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Doyle was known for listening and then speaking. He also had a great sense of humor and was quick witted. He had a passion for spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed volunteering at his church taking care of the grounds and was an avid golfer. He shared that passion with those around him. He approached every challenge with resilience and a positive attitude, serving as an inspiration to his family and friends.
Doyle touched the lives of many through his career, being a father / grandfather and friend. He made lasting contributions to his church, Habitat for Humanity and various men's organizations. His dedication and hard work left an indelible mark on all those he encountered.
In his free time, Doyle enjoyed traveling with his wife of 56 years, playing golf, watching golf, watching the Houston sports teams (Astros, Rockets, Texans), reading and mostly spending time with his family. He cherished moments spent with his family, whether it was gathering for holidays, enjoying outdoor adventures, or simply sharing stories and laughter around the dinner table.
Doyle's legacy of love, compassion, and integrity will continue to live on through his family and all those he influenced. Though he may be gone, the memories and lessons he imparted will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
A celebration of Doyle life will be held on March 23, 2024 @ 11am in Dallas Church (Dallas, Oregon).
Please join us in honoring and remembering a remarkable man who brought joy and light to the lives of so many. Rest in peace, Dad! You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Sincerely, Jared Cornman
