Edwin, best known as as Ed or Pieyo to his family and friends, was born on July 13, 1949 in Los Angeles to the late Irene(Johnny) McClellan and biological father Edwin Washington who passed when Edwin was 3 months old. He was an intelligent, caring and understanding man of his time, leaving an impact and legacy of God-fearing people around him.
The informative years of his life began in Oxnard, CA where he attended Port Hueneme High School. Upon graduating Edwin joined the US Army where he served time in Vietnam. Edwin and Mary relocated to Jacksonville, FL for Mary to continue her career and for him to start his retirement. He continued to support his wife until June 13,2013 when Mary Washington was called by our Heavenly Father to become one of his angels. Edwin remained in Jacksonville with his daughter Regina.
