Elbert Van Jones

Elbert V. Jones, born November 12, 1925 in California, passed peacefully at 93 years of age on December 4, 2018. He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII and then married Billie L. Jones with whom he had 3 children. He went on to run a successful plastering company in the bay area in which he accumulated many friends and was known for his generosity and fun-loving spirit.

He retired after 40+ years in the construction business and found his new love which was oil painting. He was extremely talented and his paintings were shared by many. He also enjoyed traveling to Mexico and entertaining friends and family.

Elbert is survived by his son Daryl V. Jones, his daughter Debra A. True and two grandsons Jason True, Steven Jones, two great-grandsons, his 3rd wife Gail Jones and step-sons Bill and Shawn.
