Elenora F. Baker passed away quietly Jan 28, 2017. She was born Feb 28, 1919 in Hollidaysburg, PA. She would have been 98 this Feb. Her husband James T. baker was deceased in 1987. Her parents were James Lester Dannals and Alverna Gordon. She leaves behind her sister, Elsie Garrison, who is 94. She leaves behind her two daughters: Debra Chang and Sandra A. Askew. Two grand children: Diana M. Askew and Christopher J. Chang and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Florida AMU and obtained her Masters from Loyola Marymount University.

She loved teaching and firstly for the Soldiers: Math and English in Gelnhausen, Germany. Then she worked for LAUSD for several years teaching elementary school. She retired to work for private industry unitl she was 79. She loved her work dearly. She will be cremated and buried with her husband at the V.A. National Cemetery, Sawtelle in W. Los Angeles. She wanted no fanfare, but to keep her in your hearts.
