Erlinda Monica Torres

Erlinda “Monica” Torres beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Monica was born on August 23, 1951 to Joe and Enedina Rosales of  San Bernardino where she was born and raised. She brought warmth and kindness into the world from her very first breath.  She was a loving and thoughtful sister to her siblings that she is survived by Joe Rosales of Highland, CA; Rosanne Alvarado of San Bernardino, CA and Theresa Rosales of Highland, CA. 

Our mother touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on those around her. Her spirit was as vibrant as the lipstick she wore and her laughter was a melody that brightened even the darkest days. 

Our mother was a devoted wife who is survived by her loving husband Jess Torres whose life was forever intertwined with hers in a bond that transcended time. Sharing a lifetime of memories and unwavering love. 

Her daughters, Dina Gerhartz and Jessica Torres we are not only her pride and joy but also the pillars of strength she leaned on throughout her life’s adventures. We will forever hold dear the lessons of strength and compassion that she imparted upon us. We will stand as testaments to her nurturing love and fierce devotion. 

In addition to her daughters, our mothers leaves behind a legacy in the form of her beloved grandchildren- Jesse Gerhartz, Andrew Moyeda and Mia Hernandez. This is where her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored beyond measure. 

Our mother will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her memory will continue to bring comfort to all those whose lives she touched. May you rest in peace mom and know you are loved immensely. 

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor our mother on
