Ernest Johnson

Johnson, ErnestAge 87, of Peoria, AZ passed away on May 10, 2012. Ernie "Papa" Johnson passed away peacefully on May 10, 2012. A native of Arizona, he served in the USMC during the "Battle of Midway Island". After returning to Arizona he began his 32 year long career with AZ DPS. Ernie retired in 1985 ...as a Major, badge #52. He will be remembered for his ability to be firm but fair, his unquestionable integrity and his devotion to his family. He is survived by his wife Virginia, four children and numerous grand children and great grand children. A celebration of his life will be held on May 17, 2012 at 10:00am at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) located at 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Rd.Arrangements by Smart Cremation of Scottsdale AZ
