Esta Hansen, a devoted mother, accomplished pianist, and kind-hearted individual, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 25, 2025, at her home in Granbury, Texas. Born on August 11, 1944, in Houston, Texas, Esta lived a life marked by her deep love for family and her commitment to helping others.
Esta pursued higher education at the University of North Texas, where she met her beloved husband, Philip Hansen. Together, they shared 59 years of marriage, full of love and companionship. Esta was a devoted mother to her two sons, Randall Hansen and Paul Hansen, and embraced her role as a loving mother-in-law to Carole Hansen. Her family blossomed with the addition of grandsons Cooper Hansen and Parker Hansen, with whom she cherished every moment spent together.
An accomplished pianist, Esta found great joy in sharing her musical talent with others, performing at home, church, and various events. Her love for music was matched only by her passion for knitting, as she took immense pride in creating baby blankets, hats, and gloves to support those in need. Esta’s commitment to community extended to volunteering at local shelters, where her love for cats shone brightly.
Throughout her life, Esta was known for her warm-hearted personality and her ability to create lasting memories with her family. She treasured the time spent together, always eager to explore new initiatives and share experiences that would strengthen family bonds.
Esta will be dearly remembered not only for her impressive accomplishments but also for the unwavering love and kindness she offered to those around her.
A memorial service in Esta's honor will be held on November 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, located at 3601 Fall Creek Hwy, Granbury, TX 76049. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Esta are invited to join in celebrating her remarkable life.
Esta Hansen’s legacy of love, compassion, and dedication as a mother and community member will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
