Eunice Dorman

Eunice was born December 24th, 1937 in a rural coal mining town in eastern Kentucky.

She passed away, peacefully in her sleep, early Saturday morning June 17, 2017 at her home in Thousand Palms, CA. She was raised by her parents the late Andrew Porter and Flossie Porter in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Eunice had four children, Vicki Craven, Cyndi Cramer, Nick Kelch and Jewell Dorman. Eunice and Jack Dorman were married in 1970. She was the owner and operator of a printing business in Long Beach, CA for many years.

She retired with her husband Jack in Thousand Palms, CA in 1999.

Eunice is survived by Brother Andrew, daughter Cyndi Cramer (Dan), son Nick Kelch (Karen), Jewell Hembroff (Dan.) Grandchildren: Joseph Cramer (Melissa), Leigh Anne Cramer, Brittany Bryson, Stephanie Way (Ken), Eric Craven (Kellie), Jack Craven (Alissa), Bryant Cramer (Emilie) Michael Kelch, Ashton Kelch , Dakota Kelch, Tyler Kelch, Zoë Kelch. Great grandchildren: Soleil, Mason, Amelia, Landon, Collin, Logan, Brodey, Liam, Lillian, Blake, Lana, Rielynn, Rory, Hailey, and Oliver.

Eunice's surviving nieces and nephews; Denise Okata, great-niece Chloe Curtis, Andrew Wood, Warren Wood, Bo Blackey, and Steven Blackey.

Her dear friends will miss her as she touched the lives of many, especially, Bob, Pat, Ted, Carol, Connie and others too numerous to mention, and all the residents and golf friends in her community.

Those loved ones that preceded Eunice in death were her husband Jack Dorman, her grandparents, Cynthia and Orville, her parents Andrew and Flossie, her sisters Jane and Ilene, and her beloved daughter Vicki.

Eunice loved to travel, visit her grandchildren, gamble and spend time on cruise ships.

Burial of ashes will be in Jefferson, Iowa next summer, 2018.
