Emblem
Eva Csele Adkins (73), a beacon of strength, kindness, and unwavering love, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, surrounded by her cherished family.

Born on December 18, 1950, in Hungary, Eva's early life was marked by courage. At the age of six, she embarked on a daring escape alongside her mother, fleeing the upheaval of the 1956 Revolution and seeking a new beginning in America. This defining experience instilled in her a profound appreciation for freedom and an unyielding spirit.
Embracing her adopted country with open arms, Eva became a proud American citizen as a teenager. Driven by a desire to help others, she became a nurse. Her dedication to her patients and her gentle touch brought comfort and healing to countless individuals.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Eva found her greatest joy in her family. She was a loving wife to Donald, a devoted mother to Jennifer (Richard) Sharpe and Gordon "Steve" (Maria) Green, and a treasured grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Katelyn, Trinity, Alexander, Alison, Brielle, Austin, and Elliott. Her unwavering love and unyielding support were the foundation of their lives, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Eva joins her mother, Katalin Linhart, in passing, but her legacy of resilience, compassion, and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley (https://www.hov.org/donate/) in Eva's memory.
