Frederick Kempton Anderson, Jr.

Frederick K Anderson, age 74 resident of Ricardo TX sadly left us on March 11, 2023 following a long term illness.

Fred was born and raised in Portland Maine to Frederick K Anderson Sr. and Lillian T Anderson.  Fred taught 8th grade science in Portland Maine.  Fred moved to South Texas just before 2000 and worked for over twenty years as a Registered Nurse.  He traveled throughout S Texas helping the disabled and elderly receive in home nursing services and equipment.  It was Fred's joy to meet and help the elderly throughout his nursing career.  Fred also worked as the weekend supervisor at Kleberg County Nursing and Rehab in Kingsville, TX just before retiring.

Fred is survived by his friend of 23 years David Flores.  One sister, Linda (Kris) Ramsingh of Roanoak VA.  Fred is also survived by his ex wife Margaret Anderson.  Fred and Margaret had two children, daughter Elizabeth (Aaron) Scifres of Portland Maine and son Erik (Jennifer) Anderson.  Four beloved grandchildren, Abigail, Declan, Sophia and Emma.  

Fred was an avid nature and animal lover.  He leaves behind his six fur babies.  Elgy, Benny, Trudy, Buster, Paco and Zana.

A private memorial service will be held in Fred's honor at a later date.
