Mr. Brown’s favorite passages:
Psalm:23
The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
I’m Free
Don’t Grieve for Me, for now I am free
I am following the path that God made for me
I took his Hand, I heard his call, then turned and bid farewell for all
I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to sing , to play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found my peace at close of play
And if my parting left a void, then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah Yes, these things I too, will miss
Be not burdened deep with Sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow
My life was full, I savored much
Good friends, Good Times, a Loved one’s touch
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief
Don’t lengthen it now with grief
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God wants me now
He set me Free
